I purchased a brand new 2009 Honda Civic at about 60, 000 miles the paint started to crack. The car looks like a boiled egg that has been droped. No peeling or chipping just cracks everywhere. I brought it to the dealer and they took pictures submitted them to Honda Motors and within hours I received a phone call stating there paint is only warranteed for 3 years or of course 36, 000 miles.
