HotWire makes a point of being a completely inflexible with regards to their policies. Don't use this company ever. I had booked a room that showed $241.50 as the price for two nights. Once you find out the hotel you're staying in, you get the beautiful information that its a resort with a $30/day fee attached to it. So really you pay $301.50, which is higher than some other comparable rooms on sites like Priceline that WILL give you a refund. And in case you're wondering this is a subsidiary of Expedia. You will get the same terrible treatment with expedia.com and hotels.com. Protect your money. Use Priceline or Orbitz. read full review »
