I contacted Carlos about a one bedroom apartment I wanted to rent for my kids and I on Feb 8. He told me that I could put $200 towards the unit to hold it. I gave him $400 cash so the total amount would be less to move in. A week later I gave him $900 cash to pay off the $1, 000 deposit.
