I had a boat advertised for sale and was sent a counterfeit check which I deposited in my account, was cleared by the bank and I sent a 24 hour delayed Western Union money transfer to shiipper as instructed after which time the bank placed a debit hold on the check and then denied clearance stating it was a counnterfeit check.
