I have owned a duel temperature zone Magic Chef wine cooler for just over a year. Earlier this month I noticed an E4 error message on the control panel, for the lower zone. The owners manual suggests calling Magic Chef customer service if you get this error message, which I did. The customer service agent was of no help and informed me that I would need to call A&E Service to fix the problem - on my dime!
