Ordered computer game through Direct2Drive. Received game plus activation code and tried it out--crashed. Got advice from game maker's tech support--they said that my brand new computer was nevertheless not powerful enough for the game's video requirements, something not at all obvious in the online documentation. They suggested asking for a refund from the vendor. But Direct2Drive will not refund once an activation code is given, yet using the code is the only way to run a game to see if it works. A catch 22. Definitely think twice before using this vendor. They've certainly lost my business. read full review »
