I have had a green dot card for over a year with little to no serious issues. Recently, I had my income tax return loaded on the card. Early March of this year I went to pay for some work on a vehicle I own and the card was declined which I found to be odd. When I checked the remaining balance on the card it showed $22.00 down from $2400 the night before. Illegal purchases were made using the card in two different Countries within hours of each other.
