LA Fitness is absolutely ridiculous! Their cancellation policy is set up as a ploy to keep the last month's service charge. I was sharing an account with my brother, and I wanted to cancel. They charge me every month on the 28th and my brother on the 24th. I went in person to the gym and got the cancellation form. I sent in the form on the 14th, which is plenty of time before the 28th.
