I have had this phone number for twenty years. I have never had long distance service on this phone because I rent this property occasionally. The last bill had a long distance charge. It said it was "operator assisted". What is the point of having no long distance carrier when anyone can call the operator and make a long distance phone call? I had tried that in the past and could not due that. Bottom line is they just got rid of a customer who pays his bill on time every month.
