I too fell for the scam of my computer being infected! The pop-up screen looks just like the Windows screen. Identical as a matter of fact. Since I trust Windows I went along with the program per se. I too was asked for my credit card info. I complained and demanded a refund but only received a partial refund of $71.40, even after finally receiving an email saying I was getting the full amount returned. After a phone call to them they are saying that was a mistake, I told them it had better be corrected as of today. I will pursue this to any length I need to.
