I paid Authorized Movers to move my furniture from CA to DE in September of 2008. They were paid in full, even though the amount they charged was way higher than my original estimate from them. They were also hired to move my car. In order to take delivery of the car in DE, I had to give the driver a cashier’s check for $938. A few days later, I found a charge for this same amount on my credit card statement. Not only had I paid them in cash, but they also charged my card, so I paid twice!
