MICROWAVE GE PROFILE - Magnetron fails after 4 years. We call customer service - they tell us it will cost $80 to fix. Repair man comes- charges min $80 +tax to just step in the door +$190 to replace the part- magnetron in our stainless GE Profile +TAX - don't forget, total - almost $300 to fix, when brand new costs $600. I am outraged. It's a SCAM!!! I ended up paying the repair guy his HOME CALL price - $90 so he would leave. We'll order the part online for $80 + and replace it ourselves.
