CitiMortgage is scaming clients with phony refinancing opportunities. CitiMortgage currently holds the mortgage on my home and they sent me a "pre-approved" opportunity to refinance at a lower interest rate. I sent them the fee to start the process only to be told that appraisaer couln't find any comparable sales in my area therefore they valued my property at less than 1/2 of the market value. CitiMortgage knew or should have known this would be the outcome with housing sales at the lowest it has been in almost 10 years. Don't fall for it! read full review »
