I cancelled my Plan on Februrary 24th 2011. I didn't realize that I had to notify ATT by mail 60 days prior to the end of contract. I cancelled by phone but was never informated that I was already automatically renewed and would be charged $20 penalty for the end of my contract-which in my case was a whole year ($405.75). I am repeatedly told by customer service at DSL "you should have read your contact". What about the elderly and other vulnerable groups? This is a totally unethical practice.
