I paid off my account with Credit One Bank credit card in December 2010. In January 2011, I closed my account with them. When I closed the account, I wrote down the customer service rep's (CSR) name and the confirmation number that he gave me. As of April 2011, my account is still open. I have attempted to call Credit One Bank, but after entering my account number and dialing the "0" prompt to talk with a CSR; the line goes DEAD.
