Purchased Sony Bravia TV about a year and a half ago. About 5 months ago black semicircles began appearing on screen, we now have two on right side and one in middle on lower part of screen. TV has never been moved and not subject to any temperature or light extremes. Sony was no help when contacted and offered no resolution. They informed me that warrantly is expired and Sony did not offer extended warranty on this model(I wonder why?). I supposed they would prefer to lose a customer for life than offer some solution.
