I paid usmb $3000 for a loan mod with my mortgage company HSBC. It has been over 5 months and havent heard anything on whats going on. I try to contact them only to speak to an answering machine and do not get a return call. From what I understand they have went bankrupt. I am still in my home but I am sure it wont be for long after hearing the storys on usmb. I recieved a notice of final judgement from our maortage company's lawer about two weeks ago.
