Since Nov 2010 I have been asking UBS to provide proof that I requested that my account be closed and that they provide proof of payment when they closed the account. I ended up at Annette Marsula -Manager, Client Relations. Who told me that they had sent me a cheque but she refuses to provide proof that I cashed the cheque. She says that the account was closed almosr 5 years ago and that they do not need to keep records for longer than 5 years.
