Just purchased a house and wanted a loan that was assumable, without pre-payment penalities and no origination charges. I was told by Wells Fargo that they would do that, but calling around, I talked with Leasha Johnson and she said she would match that. All along there were problems with her story changing, rates changing (which they do) but it usually included a change in cost, adding in origination cost, or discount fee if I wanted a certian %.
