My husband and I opened a Wells Fargo checking and saving account on 12/29/2010. I specifically asked about service fees because when we lived in Ca we had problems with Wells Fargo and their service fees. I was told by the banker that I would need to open a checking and savings account, keep a minimum of $5, 000 in the two accounts to eliminate any service fees.
