On April 5, we had a rain storm in Central Florida (not a heavy duty hurricane, just a rain storm). I was home, sick with a nasty stomach virus. My land line went out. Since I have vision limits, I no longer have a cell phone. I borrowed one from a neighbor to notify AT&T of the outage. Their recording told me it might be fixed by April 11 - 7 days from date of outage. Since I also have AT&T internet, this left me with no way to contact anyone if I needed help. I pay for a security system, but it sends its alarms over the land line... read full review »
