We purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Lowe's in April 2008 and bought the extended warranty service contract--they call it Lowe's Service Advantage -- what a joke! Our washer began malfunctioning 2 months ago. We read on the web about the problem and verified that this was what was wrong. We called Lowe's Service Advantage to schedule repair.
