I bought the Stauer compass '33 watch 10 months ago. The 24 hour dial fell off and jammed the watch. It keeps the second hand locked up. I called their customer service dept. told them of the problem. They said the manufacturer only covers the mechanism if the watch will not run. I told Stauer that I expected them to repair the problem. They said they only warranty the watch for 30 days. I said I did not cause the problem with the watch, it was defective from the start.
