They called and got me to pay for the renewal of a magazine subscription. They represented themselves as if they were the magazine. This was on 10-March-2009. Today it is a month later and my magazine keeps notifying me that my subscription is about to end. After calling the magazine myself, I learned that they have not received any funds from US Periodicals for the renewal. I have notified my credit card company to dispute the charge. Lesson learned: If you ever receve such a call, make sure it is the magazine / newspaper who is calling you - not some third party and esp. not US Periodicals. read full review »
