Where to begin: In late 2008 purchased home built in 2003 with all top of the line KitchenAid appliances. Problems with the dishwasher: (1) the springs broke - every time I opened the door it would come crashing down. Most of the time I remembered to hold the Very Very heavy door and slowly lower it. But sometimes I didn't. Happy it never crashed on the head of the kids or (if I had a dog) the dog. Cost to repair - $120. (2) Dishwasher leaks all over floor one night.
