I purchased a Brookstone item on line through Amazon.com and realized it was the wrong item when it was sent to my home. I called the phone number on the back of the packing slip which acts as your receipt and it was the Brookstone's company number. I told the customer service rep I wanted to return the item, and she said that I could return it to a Brookstone store or mail it back to the company.
