Our microwave heated up completely on it's own and then burn itself up. Luckily, we came home, went to use it and it was hot to the touch. Called Service and they said it was not fixable. After finding a recall out at the Consumer Products Safety website, I contacted Whirlpool (makes Kitcheaide) and they said my serial number was "outside the range" of the recall. They offered me 15% discount on a new one, really? I am looking for others who have the Kitchenaid model KEMC. If you do, be careful!
