My husband messed our taxes up last year so this year I figured we would bring them to a professional and the money we saved in the long run would be worth it. What a mistake! I initally asked for the price up front, but she never told me until the taxes were done 15 minutes later. She never filed any general sales tax and later told me that was only for big ticket items, she never asked abour employee expenses such as union dues, even though I am a teacher.
