On the local news channel here in the MN and NW WI area on 4-19-11, McDonald's made the news by announcing that they were hiring thousands of workers nationwide in the next few weeks. They showed clip after clip of employees preparing the food with their hands, assembling the burgers and the condiments without gloves. I was shocked and couldn't believe that such a HUGE fast food chain didn't require employees to wear gloves.
