12-1-10 i had my sister ship a piece of marble from indonesia, she packaged it for international transport, (bubble wrap, foam and crate) DHL repackaged it with old cardboard only causing breakage. DHL refuses to refund my shipping costs, many times the cost of the item, saying i would have to make a claim in indonesia, knowing full well that there are no consumer protections there and i would have a snowball in hells chance of getting a claim processed there. DHL has the worst customer service i have ever encountered, in short they are a ripoff and ripoff the small customer/shipper. stay away from DHL ! read full review »
