I signed my contract on August 01, 2006 and was told that I would be in my home by Christmas, come 11/1/06 they had yet to start building and blamed it on the rain (which we hadn't had), the county for being slow on issuing the build permit, and on and on! It wasn't until I through a Texas-sized hissy fit did they start building, and then were not building according to the specifications, so it was one battle after another.
