I own a Grand Wega 50 inch TV that was purchased 2003 for $3000. Over 7 years, the TV had broken twice big time, needing to replace a circuit board (the lamp ballast), in addition to the lamp blew out after 2 years (1/3 of its lifetime). And numerous other times, the TV turned off and I had to unplug or wait before it would turn on again. All together I had paid $750 to TV repairmen to fix the problems.
