Bought an Acer Aspire one yr and a month ago and the screen went out. I called their support line and they wouldn't fix the computer because it was technically one month out of warranty. So on their website they have that they will fix 1 issue for $99.00. So when i asked them about that they said that only applies to questions asked on software. When it clearly states software and hardware on the page. Who would pay $99.00 to ask a question? If your Screen in not working, you know it's broken.
