This company kept calling me and I finally answered the phone. I was told they want to help Veterans and reduce my monthly payment by over $500. I have owned many homes over the years and have refinanced a couple of times. You may decrease your monthly payment, but you then increase your total mortgage. I kept asking for details over the phone. They wouldn't give me any and just insisted that a loan officer would have to come to my home for 10-15 min to talk to me about it. Didn't sound terrible.
