Preferred Long Distance, Inc. will tell you they will save you money on their phone service through their phone slamming practice. Once you're on board with them you will pay a lot more than your regular provider and you wont be able to just close your account without you having to figure it all out. I found the solution by calling my old phone company for the procedure. Why didn't Preferred Long Distance help me with this? Because they want to keep billing you and they will.
