I purchased a Sony bravia 42" tv, August 2008. I use it about 4 hours a day and last week on Friday it started to give me problems. I was told by all my friends that had Sony tv's that they were the best! The warrenty insurance company would not repair it because they said the part I needed cost $900+, so I have to settle for a much cheaper fairly unknown brand to me.
