I too have been screwed by Aurora, I started dealing with them in 2008, BEFORE I had any late payments, after following the forbearance procedure, which is make the payment amount that they give you for 3 months and then you are supposed to have a "MODIFICATION", which lasted 1 year at the higher payments, I was told I did not send in the correct paper work, I told them I have all Fed x slips that the paperwork was received and who signed for it, I was told that there was NO PROOF that I had sent anything in the Fed X envelope.
