We recently rented a Chevy from Fox Car Rental near LAX. When we were driving the car out of the lot, we heard a noise and asked them to check it out, which they said was coming from the AC. Not too long after we got out, smoke started coming out of the car engine. We ran back to the car rental at night, and told them about it. They didn't believe us, and went to retreive the car, and said, "Oh there is smoke coming out of the engine." They just gave us another car to rent. No apology.
