I experienced a job loss at the beginning of February and wanted to make sure that our loss of my income would not cause a hit to my credit rating. I contacted Countrywide to see if there was anything they could do to either lower my payment or interest rate so that the mortgage would become less of a financial burden right now (My account is spotless).
