On May 4, 2011, my wife shopped at Kohl's in Auburn, NY. When she checked out, she used two $10 cash coupons issued by Kohl's. It turned out that one of them had zero balance. The cashier called the assistance manager on duty. The manager took my wife’s coupon to somewhere and after several minutes, he came back with a copy of receipt and said that my wife's coupon has been used today at 10:21am.
