Went to Eastern Mountain Sports to buy my wife Mother's Day gifts totaling $421. Much to my surprise my check was denied. Clerk said they use Certegy and I might want to call them to clear things up. Called Certegy and was told that there was no fraudulent activity on my account or any bounced checks.
