I bought 2 LG Optimus LW690 Cricket cell phones on May 2, 2011 for my wife and myself, on May 7, 2011 5 days later both phones screens went black within 1 hour of each other. I called LG for their warranty and was basically told that the phones were either dropped or abused and would not be covered. My first impression of the phone was correct and I should have gone with my instinct instead of listening to the Cricket salesperson.
