Interested in a compact solar power suppy for a few years. I bought this Power Curve, model CHG 24008 off of the clearance table in a sporting goods store last summer, I believe. About 4 by 5 inches and 1 inch thick at the battery. Total failure. the instructions say to charge the first time for at least 6 hours from a USB port (I always follow the manual). There is scant info in the accompanying paperwork. somewhere in it, they claim that it will hold a charge for 30 days.
