i thought i was doing the right thing by unplugging the dvr during a thunderstorm. after the storm i plugged the dvr back in and it would not come on. i called customer service and was told they would send another dvr in 2-5 days, but that would cost me the shipping and handling fee (only 19.99). why am i being charged for trying to protect their euipment?
