I purchased a speck E90-1 above ground pump that was advertised as a 1.5 HP which turned out to be a .75 HP. Island Rec just put a 1.5 HP sticker on it and sold it for a higher price. I found out by accident as I had a problem with it a few years after purchasing, and measured the flow rate which was checked against the specs and found that it coincided with the .75HP specification. read full review »
