Based on my experience with savebig.com, it is a scam. They charge you $99 for opening an account without informing you. That $99 buys you a "chance" to spend more money on a product if you happen to win an auction (which is virtually impossible without spending way more than money in bids than what the product actually costs if bought at retail price).
