I have learned that the Franklin Mint accepted a charge for one item from a relative using my credit card number. They never matched the credit card number with the name or address. My sister was ill at the time this charge was processed, and I missed it on my credit card. Over a year later, they again called this relative, who has dementia, and offered him another product. They had my credit card number on file from the last purchase, which they used again, updating the expiration date with a guess. They never matched it against the relative's name and address.
