I purchased a "4 star" room through Hotwire.com ($200/night). Upon receiving the name of the hotel (one I had never heard of before that is not on their list of 4 star properties), I called the hotel myself to make sure that I would be able to have two beds in the room (traveling with a friend). I was told by the hotel that not only were they sold out, but that I had been booked in one of their small studio rooms (200 square feet with a queen bed)!
