Four years ago I took out a credit card for my mom because our dog needed surgery in order to live. So I went ahead and took out the credit card that the vet had suggested. Come to find out because of my inquiry as to why I was still paying on it when it did no exceed $1500 I found out that I was locked in at 26.99 percent interest. There was no way that I would pay this off within 10 years had I not taken my money out of my savings and pay it off.
