BofA bought my loan a year ago from the original lender. The original lender clearly stated on the lending documents, "NO FLOOD INSURANCE REQUIRED" but of course 1 year later w/BofA I am in a flood zone and flood insurance is required! They want me to hire the surveyor, contact fema to make the determination, then send the determination back to them.
